Former Bell President J. Wiley Finney, Jr.’s Passing
Mr. J. Wiley Finney, Jr., 102, passed away Monday, February 24, 2014, at Wesley Village following a short illness. Born in Nashville, TN on March 31, 1911, Mr. Finney was the middle of three children including an older sister and younger brother. In 1928, upon finishing public school in Nashville, he enrolled in the University of Tennessee where he graduated in 1933 with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and a Reserve Commission in the Army Corps of Engineers. 50th Anniversary Celebration
Bell Engineering employees, friends, and family gathered Saturday, March 1, 2014, at Malone’s Banquets in Lexington, Kentucky, to celebrate the 50th anniversary and retirement of Carroll Ramey. Carroll began his career with Bell Engineering on February 24, 1964, after working as a surveyor with the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet. He was a licensed surveyor, designer, and construction manager working on water, wastewater, and natural gas systems for municipalities throughout
