In 2016, Bell Engineering completed a comprehensive plan for the Owen County Fiscal Court for the Owen County Park and Fairgrounds. This plan outlined needed improvements to existing equipment as well as identified new infrastructure to further the life of the park. The Fiscal Court opted to utilize ARPA funds along with a 50/50 match from Game Time to construct an all-inclusive playground replacing the existing dilapidated play area with a new, safe play space for all. The park was officially opened Thursday, October 27, 2022 just in time for Halloween festivities!
