While flying cars may exist, we certainly don't think the need for roads will be eliminated any time soon. Similarly, other future infrastructure needs including water, wastewater and stormwater systems aren't diminishing. In many ways, the pandemic exposed our areas of greatest need presenting us with the perfect opportunity to get back to the future planning.

While there is no guarantee, stimulus funding for infrastructure may become available. Projects that are "shovel-ready", in-design or already planned may score more favorably.
