Navitas Utility and Keystone Foods Natural Gas Groundbreaking
Navitas Utility Corporation, partnering with Equity Group of Kentucky – Keystone Foods, held a groundbreaking ceremony August 6, 2014, to mark the beginning of the Natural Gas Line Extension Project to provide natural gas to Keystone Foods’ Albany processing facility. The $1,225,000 project will begin at the Albany Gate regulating station and includes nearly 7.5 miles of 6-inch, polyethylene gas main connecting to the processing facility. Owingsville/CTI Foods Expansion Project
CTI Foods is investing more than $42 million in an initial expansion to its operations center in Owingsville, Kentucky, as part of a $58 million total expansion which will add nearly 200 full-time jobs at the facility. The expansion will affect the facility’s product line and requires the construction of a new equalization basin and pretreatment facility at the Bath County Industrial Park wastewater treatment facility located adjacent to the operations center.
