Streets and Sidewalks

Below are just a few examples of successful projects Bell Engineering has completed.
City of Hopkinsville, TEA-21,
2006-FY
This project consisted of reconstruction of 6th Street including relocation of overhead utilities to underground, new decorative intersection at 6th and Main Street, replacement of sidewalks in several locations, installation of new street lighting, removal and relaying of brick pavers at the courthouse. Also included was reversed flow of traffic on 6th Street to enhance the view of the courthouse.
City of Hopkinsville, TEA-21, 2001-FY
This project consisted of replacement of sidewalks on Main Street and 7th Street and installation of decorative street lighting, planters, waste receptacles, benches and landscaping of a pedestrian area. Also included was the bridge railing and walkway on the 9th Street bridge over the Little River.
Little River Bank Stabilization
This project consisted of the design and construction of a retaining wall to stop erosion of the river bank and add to the appearance of the park.
North Drive Safe Routes to School
This project consisted of design and construction of approximately 0.6 miles of new sidewalks on North Drive in Hopkinsville, Kentucky.
Pyle Lane Curve Replacement
This project consisted of reconstruction of Pyle Lane near Great Oaks Subdivision. Work included the demolition and realignment in the existing right-of-way changing both the vertical and horizontal alignment.
