Bell Engineering is seeking a marketing/proposal coordinator to assist with proposal coordination and development to support our growing firm. This full-time position reports to the Director of Marketing. The applicant will be responsible for writing, editing, layout, and production of proposals, statements of qualifications, presentations and other marketing materials; developing cover letters, firm bios, project cut sheets, references, and staff resumes; working closely with owners, associates, and project managers with proposal and marketing activities, including research for potential project leads, budgets, and relationships; updating and maintaining project and personnel data systems and folders; gathering, formatting and maintaining accurate, up-to-date firm marketing information; and assistance with trade shows and conferences. On occasion, this position may require flexible hours to meet deadlines or travel overnight to attend conferences.
Preferred requirements include a B.A. in Business Administration, Marketing, or Communications; two years of experience with A/E/C firm not required but a plus; knowledge of RFP process and proposal production; effective communication skills within a fast-paced, deadline driven office; professional writing and editing experience (technical and creative); time management and problem-solving skills; detail oriented; fluency in Microsoft Office programs; comfortable working in Adobe Creative Cloud/Suite (i.e., InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop); proactive, resourceful and can easily multi-task against deadlines.
